This morning, the sky is all sweet honey, pouring over me, pouring sweetness over everything around me. I am spellbound, every photo is fantastic, and again I think it will be difficult to just choose one. So today, I've narrowed it down to three.

I am waiting for the sun to rise... Good morning, world!

My world is awash in spring greens. I am in love with all the brightness. Above is that saucer moon and I gaze at the lemon-orange sky,  waiting for the miraculous crest. And the chorus of birds, so insistent, serenades me and the moon.

We are soaking in the sounds of the morning and all this endless beauty! Morning is a daily gift and I am overwhelmed, grateful, and feel immortal.

My morning recap as I wait for the sunrise... North Carolina had the Pisgah Forest fire near where my morning sun crests. The fire started at 5:30 pm and continued into the night...The raging fire grew relentlessly and provided a dynamic visual display. The sky was lit with lots of high drama for a while.

This morning, it looks like the fire is extinguished. 

Firefighters are heroes... I am waiting to see the damage at dawn... 

My morning view is lovely. No visible sign of damage from the fire. As you can see, we are still all green, alive with Spring!!!

Drinking coffee, sitting on my front garden step. Listening to the birds singing, so sweetly. I am waiting with my iPad, waiting for my sun... 

I am waiting for the sun to rise.

I worked until sunset last evening, moving mulch & rocks & dirt & weeds. I am now content to sit and admire my handiwork. I still have much more to do and I am loving the work, loving the results, loving this creative gardening.

Everywhere I look is a pretty picture, beauty beyond words, that celebrates this morning...  Oops gotta go, here comes the sun...
