The Moon Is There

This morning, mesmerized,  I watched through the bare oak trees the moon set over downtown Birmingham as I welcomed the new day. We are Waxing Gibbous at 90%. The full moon is on Friday.

An unexpected distraction, 

A skylight surprise.

Two days from being full: 

this moon, setting golden to orange, 

cutting the indigo over the city of Birmingham, Alabama.
