The Sun Suspended
Breaking Through the Fog
Awash With Light

"Life is in the clouds:
 broad life,
deep life,
elevated life."

 ~ Hawaiian Proverb

Fog and light at this dawn. (Photo)

So, the thick fog lets the sun through. Suspended, breathless, in the glorious silver white morning.

With each second, more beauty. How can I be so lucky to see this apparition?

Now the sun has broken through in absolute madness. Bright, washing everything with gold light. The world radiates.

Up to You

"Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you."

~ Richard Bach

Cool morning. Light fog. Many birds singing... & the pale pink dawn. Aloha World! Photo

"There are victories of the soul and spirit.
Sometimes, even if you lose, you win."
Elie Wiesel

Spectacular, beautiful morning with hazy sun rays, gentle fog in cove, and my stunning bright beautiful sun ablaze in creative light... So with this sunrise photo comes the question: How can you not shine?

Share your light.

from the windstorms,
you would never see
 the beauty of their carvings."

A Friend

"A friend is one that knows you
 as you are,
understands where you have been,
 accepts what you have become,
and still, gently allows you to grow."

"Dream, dream, dream;
dream transforms into thoughts
 and thoughts result in action.
You have to dream
before your dreams can come true."
 ~ Abdul Kalam

Sunrise through my roses
Big bold sun, ball of fire & creativity, angel dangling in the tree, winking at me.

Aloha, I say.
Dream Aloha.

Good News

"Everyone has inside himself a piece of good news! The good news is that you really don't know how great you can be, how much you can love, what you can accomplish, and what your potential is!" ~ Anne Frank

My Sky Fog, My Prayers Peace. (Photo)

Someone has silver on the paintbrush this morning. Drama! (Photo)

Watched, transfixed, as the fog swirled away and let my sun in. Remarkable experience.

This clue, once found,
unravels all the rest."

Listening to Birds at Dawn: (Photo)

Oh my goodness. Someone tipped the RED paint onto the sky. Now everything is stained! (Photo)

Red Fire Ribbons Sky (Photo)

(Please wake up Asheville and look at the red sky. I am afraid my camera can't capture all the colors.)

Sounds & Colors: (Video)

Now. Spill some gold on the sky... (Photo)

"Poetry should surprise by a fine excess,
and not by singularity;
it should strike the reader
as a wording of his own highest thoughts
and appear almost a remembrance."

My home and cove below are drenched in fog right now, with very little visibility. But for a breath of a second, a flash of magic and wonder, I had this gift of color and light. Surprise and delight...

Bruce Lee, Achieve
"Learn the principle,
abide by the principle,
and dissolve the principle.
In short,
enter a mold without being caged in it.
Obey the principle
 without being bound by it.
Learn, Master, and Achieve!"
Bruce Lee

Draw Something
"Rapture" on Draw Something
The wild wind is causing havoc in my sky; the clouds are possessed. High drama... (Photo

I am having fun playing "Draw Something" on my iPad. Yesterday I drew this, and yes, it was immediately guessed as "rapture" by my friend, Zoe who is my fellow Sunrise Sister.
