Light In the Heart

"Beauty is not in the face;
Beauty is a light in the heart."

Trust the Dreams

"In the depths of your hopes and desires
lies your silent knowledge of the beyond;
and like seeds dreaming beneath the snow
your heart dreams of spring.
Trust the dreams, for in them
is hidden the gate to eternity."

With my precious Kolo

Snow and bare trees. Textures and lines. Nature helps me to see clearer, deeper.

The beauty defies words and touches my heart, becoming a wordless part of this enchanted life that I am so grateful for.

Dawn

"I wake at dawn with a winged heart
and give thanks for another day of loving."

Oh this sun is so beautiful. My nose seems to be frozen, but my heart burns with inspiration... Working in the light room with this morning's sunrise photo, I find myself going into the branches of the tree that's there, reaching toward the light. The light spills everywhere.

Fullness

So the crescent moon & Venus decided to show up, too.
 Embrace.
 Magnificent.
"You pray in your distress and in your need: would that you might pray also in the fullness of your joy and in your days of abundance."

Wall Between Two Gardens

"Sadness is but a wall between two gardens."
~
Kahlil Gibran

Oh, the sky is smeared orange this morning...Sometimes you need a new perspective, so I walked around the backyard for different vantage of sunrise...Looks like the bare branch from this tree is holding up the sun.

(Better understand sun's analemma, thanks to info sent by @jensaylor. Thank you!)

Thunder and Lightning

"If I accept the sunshine and Warmth,
then I must also
accept the thunder and lightning."
~
Kahlil Gibran

OK. Update: According to weather.com, in Asheville, North Carolina, "it's 17 degrees...feels like 2." Two! Two! Two is an age, not a temperature...

Blazing sun and gentle snow flakes....

Wake at Dawn

"Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
To melt and be like a running brook
that sings its melody to the night.

To wake at dawn with a winged
heart
and give
thanks for another day of loving."
~ Kahlil Gibran
