Trust the Dreams

"In the depths of your hopes and desires
lies your silent knowledge of the beyond;
and like seeds dreaming beneath the snow
your heart dreams of spring.
Trust the dreams, for in them
is hidden the gate to eternity."

With my precious Kolo

Snow and bare trees. Textures and lines. Nature helps me to see clearer, deeper.

The beauty defies words and touches my heart, becoming a wordless part of this enchanted life that I am so grateful for.

Lovely Snowflakes

Asheville, North Carolina

"Lovely snowflakes, they fall nowhere else!"
~ Zen Saying

Cold air,
enrages the sky,
on fire
like golden honey and creativity.

We got five inches!

Molecular Heart of Life

Bare trees out front

"But down deep,
at the molecular heart of life,
the trees and we are essentially identical."

The Wide World's Joy

"The sun does not shine
for a few trees and flowers,
but for the wide world’s joy."

Dawn Is Always Rebirth

"Whatever else it is, dawn is always rebirth,
a fresh start, even in familiar routines
and worries charge in clamoring for attention."
~ Diane Ackerman

Having had a rough couple days, I am very happy to report with this dawn is the absolute certainty that rebirth is a guarantee for each new day.

Despite naysayers and critics, experts and cynics, I know for sure that the human spirit is inextinguishable. Each morning is a chance to begin again.
