Every prayer, every chant is heard... There is not a cloud in the sky...My sunrise ridge is a dark silhouette against an ethereal pale gold sky... Amazing how over Asheville, the sky glows a different shade of pale red...Fine mist in the valley and light reveal Pisgah Forest's vibrant greens. The birds and I await the sun, just a breath away...

These are the minutes of pure anticipation...And this morning stillness is holy... Giving birth to light. Pure, blazing light.

Asheville sky is purple and orange, lots of clouds. Freezing toes; need to put on shoes... Wild sky. No clarity on this end. Clouds, color, and light. Unfurling, interesting. Invigorating. Beautiful... Trio of jet exhaust streams punctuate skyline. Up, soaring.

Actually, these clouds are remarkable, fanciful against blue red sky. Pisgah Forest has filled in green, almost overnight... My sun, swallowed by clouds. Still so much beauty, color, and light. Life, a daily celebration.
