Far More Glorious

Good Lord, look at the sky! Glowing, passionate purple and orange sherbet with crescent moon. Unbelievable, beautiful sky.

"For in the true nature of things,
if we rightly consider,
every green
tree is far more glorious
than if it were made of gold and silver."
~
Martin Luther

Here I am again, awash in the simple rhythms of morning... The mist makes my photos seems out of focus. They are not. :) As sharp as my imagination... & That sun pulsates goodness...

Surpassing Itself

The sun is just hanging there in the fog. Surreal apparition. Tender, like my heart. Mine, mine...

Limitless

Wild storm last night, thunder, lightening & power outage. Spectacular sunrise this morning.

It is like the mountains are cupping the sun in the palm of their hand...

"The most important things are the hardest things to say. they are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them, words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they’re brought out."
~
Stephen King

It is SO gorgeous this morning after the storm... Clouds, fog, mist, colors. Delight. Possibilities.

Seeds You Plant

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap,
but by the seeds you plant."
~
Robert Louis Stevenson

Saucer moon & stars above me, dawn's pastels ease into the misty sky. The mountains rise up to meet me... Hazy, warmer than usual. Thick covering of clouds frost the mountains. Colors. Birds. Airplanes... My morning prayers, those wishes & fears, are gathered up & dispersed like music in the beautiful morning sky.

Finally, the sun breaks through the mist & the world opens up with wide-eyed glory. A new day... Just uploaded a rather stunning photograph of my overexposed sun at my Tumblr account....

My mountain is all fog and misty and haze. A wonderland of cool beginnings... Eerie glow along the mountain ridge, through the haze, above Asheville. Some sort of golden dream...

Based on Love

From my back deck, watched an electrical storm for hours last night... Little groggy this morning, waiting for sun.

My maternal and paternal grandmas both died on the same day, July 6, two years apart. Maybe they were bowling in heaven last night?

In Motion

Three birds in the tree and me wait for the sun...

Don't know about sunrise this morning, but the clouds are pretty. Dreaming wide.

Waiting for that sun to break through. It... is... coming...

Cool air, orange sherbet sky. Pretty, calm, hazy. The birds are sleeping in this morning, I think... Oh, a kiss in the contrail...
